Brace Me Up Circle of Our Love Feelings of Forever Humble Way Line Upon Line Paper Dream Sailing On Saturday's Warrior Summer of Fair Weather Zero Population |
Saturday's Warrior is a film with a story developed in the
LDS
tradition. Beyond that there is also a very strong influence from
Ode: Intimations of Immortality
from Recollections of Early Childhood by William Wordsworth. This is most
evident in the ever present element of faint feelings of familiarity
which characters have with others they knew before they were born. The connection
is also made apparrent in the close link many lyrics in the soundtrack have with
Wordsworth's poem. Most notable is the title of the song "Feelings of Forever",
which is quite obviously a rewording of "Intimations of Immortality". Music for most of these songs can be found in MIDI format at LDS Music Corner: Music to Heal the Soul. |
